At AIWN, we have been hosting conversations about race. At this event, Veronica Jones Kirkland will join us in a conversation about taking action to work for racial justice.
What can we do beyond voting to influence the direction our society moves in? We’ll talk about advocacy, how to effectively communicate your position to your elected officials and reaching out to businesses about problematic business practices.
Before the event, please download the app “5 Calls” as we will be discussing how to use this app to help you reach out to elected officials. The app has a blue background and 5 white stars, to help you confirm you’ve found the right one!
