AIWN June 2024 Meeting: Founding Member Katy Fenbert Presents ‘The Current State of Insurance Markets; How to Best Protect Yourself.’

What do you really know about your insurance coverage? At home and at work.

Join us for an intriguing and exciting overview of what’s happening in the insurance industry and how it may impact you. We’ll also discuss a variety of options to protect your personal and business assets.

About the Speaker

Katy started her carrier in insurance with The Travelers Insurance Company in their Commercial Business program. She later joined Risk Management & Consulting Group, Inc. which focused on acting as the Risk Manager for numerous municipalities. She later joined Fred. S. James and worked as an assistant Account Executive on numerous large commercial accounts.

After much thought and encouragement by FSJ colleagues and some friends who were State Farm Agents, Katy started the interview process to become a State Farm Agent. After two years, it all came to reality in September, 1989 when I opened my agency doors in Decatur, GA.

Our agency currently has 4, full-time, fully licensed Team Members – each with at least 20 years experience. We take pride in providing exceptional, professional and personal customer service and live our Mission every day “to help people protect what matters most”. We enjoy meeting with customers and prospects to educate them on what they have and why they have it and uncover any gaps in coverage.

Katy majored in Risk Management & Insurance from UGA (1984) and holds the ARM (Associate in Risk Management) designation. (Has also held the Series 6 & 63 licenses, CSA – Certified Senior Advisor designation and currently has her Mortgage License). Married, 2 kids, 3 dogs.
