Your Plan to Vote
Special Guest Speaker Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Ramona Toole has agreed to address the full spectrum of your decisions, and how they can affect your… no, our future.
If you haven’t already, check your registration status. Has your voting district or polling station changed? If you haven’t voted early, and you need to be sure that you show up at the correct polling location, where and how can you check? Do you know how to download a sample ballot?
Obviously, our next president matters. But, what about the specific things that are on your local ballot? Who represents your district? What are your referendums? How will a referendum affect you? What about judges, and law enforcement?
The purpose is for you and every attendee be able to understand that their vote(s) truly matter.
About the Speaker
Ramona Toole has been practicing law in the State of Georgia for over twenty years.
Raised in Alabama, Ramona’s early life was shaped by instances of violence that ignited her interest in a career in the legal field. By 8th grade, she decided she would become an attorney to create safer communities and protect the most vulnerable members of society. This commitment has been the driving force behind her entire career and Ramona brings a wealth of experience to the forefront of her campaign.
Ramona holds a J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law, a M.B.A. from Alabama A&M University, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Berea College in Kentucky.
She began her career as an Assistant Solicitor at the City of Atlanta Traffic Court and later joined the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled a diverse array of cases, ranging from traffic offenses to serious felonies. She is a former Assistant District Attorney for Gwinnett County, where she prosecuted cases involving violent crimes, illegal possession of firearms, and illegal distribution of controlled substances. Currently serving as the Deputy District Attorney for Records, Diversion, and Record Restriction Unit in Fulton County, Ramona plays a crucial role in giving individuals a second chance through specialized programs such as Adult Diversion.
Ramona actively contributes as a panelist on the Fulton County Citizens’ Review Board.
