At 85, Ann was living by herself and doing fine until a cascade of health issues slowed her down and she needed assistance. That’s her goal - to help her clients make informed decisions, take action, and make their senior years the best they can be. She equips seniors, their families, and caregivers on all topics related to aging…like housing and health care matters, transitional moves, and liquidating estates through her education initiative. About the Speaker Katy started her carrier in insurance with The Travelers Insurance Company in their Commercial Business program. She later joined Risk Management & Consulting Group, Inc. which focused on acting as the Risk Manager for numerous municipalities. She later joined Fred. S. James and worked as an assistant Account Executive on numerous large commercial accounts. After much thought and encouragement by FSJ colleagues and some friends who were State Farm Agents, Katy started the interview process to become a State Farm Agent. After two years, it all came to reality in September, 1989 when I opened my agency doors in Decatur, GA. Our agency currently has 4, full-time, fully licensed Team Members – each with at least 20 years experience. We take pride in providing exceptional, professional and personal customer service and live our Mission every day “to help people protect what matters most”. Your Plan to Vote Special Guest Speaker Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Ramona Toole has agreed to address the full spectrum of your decisions, and how they can affect your... no, our future. If you haven't already, check your registration status. Has your voting district or polling station changed? If you haven't voted early, and you need to be sure that you show up at the correct polling location, where and how can you check? Do you know how to download a sample ballot? Obviously, our next president matters. But, what about the specific things that are on your local ballot? Who represents your district? What are your referendums? How will a referendum affect you? What about judges, and law enforcement? The purpose is for you and every attendee be able to understand that their vote(s) truly matter. About the Speaker Ramona Toole has been practicing law in the State of Georgia for over twenty years. Raised in Alabama, Ramona's early life was shaped by instances of violence that ignited her interest in a career in the legal field. By 8th grade, she decided she would become an attorney to create safer communities and protect the most vulnerable members of society. This commitment has been the driving force behind her entire career and Ramona brings a wealth of experience to the forefront of her campaign. Ramona holds a J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law, a M.B.A. from Alabama A&M University, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Berea College in Kentucky.
