Our voices and our experiences matter and we must step up and be heard in our own communities. There are literally thousands of neighborhood and homeowners associations, local and statewide boards and commissions and other policy boards that need your voice, talent and experience. Some boards require you run for a seat while other board seats are appointed by local elected commissioners, council members or other elected officials.
